yr rs are really tempting..
i miss to wear my boy.he already 1 yr 4 mo and i really miss to wear him bcoz he is really lasak, once i let him go at shopping mall or out of the car, he will simply run..but my backache worsen up to the point i hv to lie down 4 almost 3 days n have to perform my solat while sitting on a chair. i cant bend...so hv to rest up all my slings...sob sob...n yet jumpsac is coming out wth more n more tempting rs n ssc..huaaaaa..

How to avoid polisterin n use reusable stuff?

hi there!been dormant for a while..happy anniversary to MBW!
i have this thought dats bugging me..with all this open house, functions etc, mostly they opt to use polisterin plates, bowl etc..its disturbing to see those black  plastic bags full with polisterin the next day.but how to avoid using polisterin?me myself for example is having my kids bday/open house tomorrow.my mum already buying stacks of polisterin plates, plastic spoons. I was thinking to use the glassware but we estimated 100+ guest..where m i suppose to get the pinggan kaca, glass? i'm alone in this issue.i know if i tell my mum she will definitely go for polisterin.cant blame her.where to get more glass plastes?n i know if i insist, the next question is who is going to wash the dishes??*sigh*...can use paper plates for cake but laksa?mee kari? we are not using catering service anyway..

another thing is, i'm not sure how to avoid plastic bag while shopping?how to buy wet stuff?fish, prwns etc?N i remember my trip for groceries shopping where i bring my envirosax n told the cashier..dik tak payah plastik bag dik, letak dalam beg ni'..n the poor cashier suddenly dont know how to scan the price n pack my purchase.n she keep asking..tak payah beg ke kak?...not to mention people looking at me from other counters like..'peliknya dia ni?'..i got more stares while doing this than while babywearing my LO...

*sigh*sigh*sigh* susahnya nak save the world ni.....

Yes I agree, MPH has limited selections. My son however does enjoy the Topsy n Tim series.

I Think i hv this book, tp cam lain je gmbr dia..but the title is the same.its bout a catterpillar yg asik makan je n she met a lot of binatang lain n wishes she could fly..at the end, dia knyang sgt n tdo n bngun jadik butterfly..the end..:-D
got it secondhand, from a fren who kakak dia sudy kt uk n sell preloved books from there.but all her 2nd books r reaaly mcm baru..i guess maybe org sana jenis baca sekali then jual kot..i bought it for rm10..mcm2 buku dia jual semua imported n very cheap. dapat kat my kids terus lunyai..

the 2nd edition still available. aida, ur baby refuse to BF? u mean direct BF? there are many reason when baby  refuse to direct BF.one of it is sakit gusi due to nak tumbuh gigi, mouth ulser, the mom itself wearing different perfume, talkum (anything relates with smell). find the reason fiirst.dun staright away jumpinto conclusion that ur baby refuse BF difinitely. have u tried giving express breastmilk via bottle? refuse or accepted? if the things last long for few days,see lactation councelor to overcome the problem. giving fm is not the only solution. good luck.

Shida, i mmg direct bf my bby. i think the reason is simply he becomes lazy n wants things to  be easy. dia mmg mix fm. my only kid yg mix fm.wth him my milk supply is very low.then boy lg kuat susu rite..mayb thats 1 reason dia refuse to b bf esp kalo dia lapar.wth bottle kan laju je susu keluar. tp i still bf him..sayang oo kalau tak bf..paksa gak.hehe

kesian Hanim..I pity all docs in the public hospitals..kesian..doc tak cukup, patient makin ramai..kalau kat Bentong ni, dah la normal day pun patient ramai, doc adalah 2,3 org..very pity them..pastu ada pulak..especially mcm budak2 kat my school ni..saje2 je suka nak pegi hospital so taht they dont have to attend class..
this morning i told all students..no more hospital..if u are sick, i'l call your parents and ask them to pick u up..tapi ada pulak parents yg malas nak pick up anak diorg..suruh cikgu hantar balik..sabo je laaa..
hanim, kudos to all docs at government hospitals..n nurses too.. tell them (n you too) really appreaciate them!!!

i make sure my kids take their vit c more nowadays..it becomes a compulsory thing for them to take vit c. they also bring their own dettol hand sanitizer to school. its so scary..we also trying our best to stop our urge to go jalan2. i even have to say NO to my husband when he said lets go shopping to IKEA.sob..sob..been waiting for the big sale..huhu...n all the cd and bbw gathering..sob..sob..

YEY!!I also received my snexxy yesterday. i thot i gave my workplace address rupanya house address. package was open by my DH who thot they were inserts for CD. so he askd me why I bought so many insert without pocket Cd.
Today, I was busy distributing snexxy to my colleagues. Some are busy asking questions like betul ke tak tembus ni?bape jam tahan etc..n my answers always diorg cakap this..diorg cakap that..I hate to recommend things without my own experience..I wish I can experience the cp but nevermind, I still love my no period stage n enjoying it. my son is 1yo and 2 weeks..BTW, 1 of my senior colleague askd me whether she can get white cp so that she can assure it really clean after each wash. comment anybody?

i still get those remarks from friends like..ni bibik mana pulak ni etc, i did piss off before but now i'l just smile n ignore n now i also get remarks like..'suka la tengok kau aida, rugged je bwk bby camtu'..it comes from the same person who said i was like bibik before.
another fren told me that her husband commented to her when I bumped into them while doing my groceries shopping..'cuba tengok kak aida tu, sorg2 je dia shopping bawak semua anak2 dia..tak payah pun abang dia ikut'. at that time, i wore my 1yo in LP pouch, my 4 yo in the trolly and the other 2 girls helping me push and stop the trolly.
i thnk another reason why i ignored negative remarks is bcoz bw is becoming a trend and if 1 day, my fren saw erra fazira or any hollywood celeb wear their babies in magazines or nwpaper, I want my frens remarks to be..eh erra ni kendong baby mcm aida laa..so it will b me the trensetter..not the celeb..LOL

early this week, cps that i ordered from mums7kids arrived. so excited to distribute it to my colleagues (eventhough some hv not paid yet...sigh..). up to today, none of them hv tried it yet, n i'm so concious waiting for their verdict, I'm not sure whether they'l b able to feel the differences wth dispo since each of them only buy 2 cps but as bbyrip told me, I hope at least they'l notice something about the not so smelly situations.
i'v ordered snexxy as more are ordering since they saw my `1st batch of cp.hope they wont mind the plain color ths time coz i would like to experience buying snexxy pulak,,(eventhough it's not me who goin to wear it..)i hope they will impress wth the embroidery ths time..

do we need to prewash the cp like cd?i'v been promoting cp usage to my colleagues n they seem excited bout this, i'v ordered from mums7kids 10 cps for them. still not arrive.i am quite xcited n anxious since i myself nvr try cp. i'm ordering totally for them.like the most of bf mums, i still ddnt get my period, thats why i hv to equip myself on how,do n dont on using cp so tht i can answer any q on cp.
i really hope my frens will love cp n stop using the normal pad n join me wth my save the earth campaign..wish me luck wth my mission.
(my campaign on using cd is not so successful..i lent 1 of my fren 2 of my baby's cd but she afraid her bby might poo in my cd n I might feel yucky bout it..if only she knows that I bought second cds....)
