Ocah vs OMT
This is a pictorial comparisons of Hoppediz Paris OCAH vs Hoppediz Lille OMT. As always, Hopp makes wonderful supportive WSMT. My first WSMT was a Lille OMT, second was Timbuktu WRAPTATION, and third was this Paris OCAH.
Here is OMT on top of Ocah.
Now I'm not really sure whether my OMT is baby or standard size. OMT looks slightly smaller in width and height.
OMT hood is smaller as well.

I wanna show you the wrap strap vs the duo strap. See where the padded mt strap of the duo strap start flaring into wrap strap.
Ocah has wider wrap strap than OMT. Then again as I said, this OMT could be a baby size which is why the overall size is reasonable smaller.
Notice that Ocah has straight waist straps.
Both has some padding on the waist straps.

Aahh... Angled! I was looking for that word!
I'm not sure Rozy.. I think it's just the same, though the angled straps always give me some weird feeling hehe.. But for my personal case, it makes a huge difference to me that OMT makes angled waist straps. Because with such feature, I was able to tie the OMT tight enough under my boobs (since the angling kinda shorten the width of the body base). The only reason I sold the Ocah was because I couldn't get a good fit with the waist. I could, but with much battling with the side padding from the waist straps. I am guessing you normal size mamas won't have such problem.
Sejak dok menelek Ocah punya website nih i trus jadi berkenan jatuh cinta pandang pertama. Sebab all the carriers made of WC. Amatlah seswai utk i yg mmg heavy user + our weather yg sungguh meruntun jiwa.....errrr.......apa kena la bahasa aku nih?

Hmm..IMHO WC is not for heavy usage..it get floppier each time use.. can sag by time..unless if it stays as a wrap..it gets broken in and soft... i don't know..just my opinion who only has WCRSs in her stash.
not so sure.. my leo is floppy as a wrap but very grippy.. dont think suitable for MT conversion or SSC.. rs boleh lah.. unless use the brand new wrap.. yg masih keras kejung tu..
hopp is sturdier.. i saw Farrah's red hopp.. but the lille looks floppy.. heheheh..

get a brand new wrap..then make the conversion.. baru best kot..

IMHO pulak, WCMT is like a wrap. It does get floppier, but so does a wrap. Using a wrap straps MT really helps to make the MT more supportive, because it wraps and supports the child's bum the way a wrap does, so that there will be 4 layers of fabric under the child's bum (2 layers from the body and 1 layer each from the strap).
Choosing the right wrap for WCMT is also important. Hoppediz makes really good supportive WCMT.
My Lille is really floppy, and will feel really nice for a newborn snuggly later. :)
Also, IMHO, if you really like 1 carrier, just use it and abuse it for good, tak payah nak rasa sayang cepat floppy, buruk, etc. Using is the best way of making your money worth paying the carrier, instead of leaving it sit unused in your wardrobe. Just my opinion though.

Btw Mamas, until wht age do u think MT is suitable? some Mamas in UK/US still use MT when their LO more than 2 yo (as per my reading)

azie, my DD xder plak nk turun nk naik. dok elok jer sepjg masa dlm carrier. kdg2 tu ada la buat perangai tp kitaorg tukar attention dia tu menda lain. tunjuk la lampu ker, keta ker,motor ker. tp sepjg masa dia ok jer. siap peluk2 i ker, silang tgn dia kt blkg, pastu dia letak dagu mcm menopang dagu org kata? i pun xtau la nk describe. tu yg i wonder some mamas kt sini kata anak nk naik nak turun sbb i x pnh experience mcm tu. hehehehe.........tp kt blkg/depan mcm2 aksi la. as long as kita bergerak dia ok. kot kita duduk dia pun nk turun duduk jgk
i hr tu semangat waja pi beli wrap murah2 nk belajar wrap. tp smpi la xdan nk buat apa pon lg. weken ni xder kelas boleh la balut mem kecik tuh
