Comfy Joey Ring Sling
This is me wearing little Emir in my Comfy Joey Hunur Limited Edition in Limeberry Splash in T2T position, legs in froggied.
Shoulder type is CJ Hybrid Shoulder, i.e. gathered but can be spreaded or scrunched up to allow for more freedom.
Fabric is single layer of linen.
Best? Entah lah... Maybe I should try those ring slings yang so-called tak best so that I know what tak best means.
But like Shida has said before, once you know how to wear a ring sling correctly, if it's a good ring sling it won't matter what type of shoulder it has.
Comfortable nonetheless. I carried 7 weeks old 4.8kg Emir for 2 hours, which caused me plugged ducts on my left breast due to the pressure put by the baby's head resting on the chest area. Wouldn't unrecommend the sling however.

i think Fara had buy this RS same time as Nita rite..and is that same linen/style as Nita punye yg pink tuh? that's soft linen but i dont really like it since it is too soft..

I don't know when K.Nita bought hers. I know about her pink CJ tapi tak tau which post entry.
How soft is soft ya? My CJ linen isn't that soft. But it isn't stiff either. It is just nice, waiting to be broken in. I'm the second owner btw, the first owner is Johanna herself in the CJ picture and she only used the sling a handful of times and she said it's not broken in yet.
The softest linen that I have tried was Syaz Sky/Espresso soft linen. Less softer linen but still very soft is her Pinkberry. Both are linen blend. Her black linen blend yang paling not soft la. To compare the black with CJ linen I still prefer CJ, soft but feels sturdy. But that's quite unfair cos I haven't really used the black linen blend sling yet.
mine is not soft linen.. it's linen/cotton blend under couture line. Not too soft for me, and not crisp either. Just nice to my liking.

It's among my purchase that i dun regret at all... Alhamdulillah it suits me, the material, shoulder and everything --- Missed it so much last time, lepas ito pulangkan terus bawak pegi genting woo, hehehhe -- brought it together with Beco.
I ada intai2 juga hunur line, but i dun fancy beadings and sequins what not.. And the price pun ehemmm.. mahal.
Farah, i think i saw the thread at fsot.. she was selling quite cheap, kan.. considering the actual price is more than $100... Your one is single layer linen, and medium sized ring?? (as stated in CJ shop). Is it easy to thread?

first time using RS..just tried once/twice at home earlier for short while. went to tang ling for the nasi lemak last weekend. we didnt plan to stop by here..but to satisfy DD yg tak puas hati cos the monkeys were all menyorok, DH choose to stop here.
I use my Hotsling earlier, but seems like DS dont want to be cradle carry/ the pouch seems too hot. Hence, when DH stop here, i just grab my CJ. hentam saja pakai buat T2T..seems OK, but still not so confident to go all hands free all time.
still learning, I didnt really know how to adjust the shoulder, so lil bit pain there and I did legs out, so there are some red marks or DS thigh.
DS is sleeping soundly, tho it is very hot there. almost 12 pm

You need to spread the fabric on the shoulder. And the back should also be spread over. Like in my pics below. The rings location is already perfect.
I suppose the CJ silk is still quite new and not yet broken in. You need to use it a lot to break it in and make it softer. If you don't mind, you can try handwashing it once and then line dry it under the sun. Then when it's dry, steam iron it. This will make the silk a little softer. But sheen will be a bit less, but still there, just don't wash it often. If you see my silvery CJ silk, it is still looking silky, I have only washed it once.
Then hopefully, when the silk is softer, there will be less or no red marks after that. And also, softer silk will make it easier to adjust around the rings.

maybe the CJ silk RS (travelling) is still stiff and not soft, i prefer raw silk over dupioni.
