First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Yep, I read that article many many times during this pregnancy, and have sent it to so many people who tell me that BWing Aqil during pregnancy is dangerous. I'm 31 weeks along now and can still BW him. Of course its not as comfy as before, but I can still wear a 10kg 17-month-old for an hour in a pouch...pregnant women are much tougher than people think ;)

I try to carry Hadif in a Pouch (hip carry) but not comfy. Rasa macam ketat saja. I'm thinking about RS. Maybe easier sebab boleh adjust....

Until today, tak berjaya back carry...huhuhu...banyak kali try tapi tak menjadi. Kena praktis lagi...

Now I'm 4M++ pregnant and make a conclusion...

The best position to carry a baby during pregnancy is back carry (2 shoulder carrier)

or, hip carry...maybe Ring Sling (or Scootababy or Mei Hip). Pouch ok if the size is bigger dari yang selalu pakai.

Until now, kena carry Hadif kat depan........Budak kecik tu susah betul nak diajar kendong di belakang and I don't have Ring Sling ...huhuhuhu...crying tensen makcik!

aishah, tak yah beli rs pun takpe. just purchase sling rings from jess and make yourself a diy rs. rm20 jer. kekekekeke. tp kena belajar la cara threading yg betul. u are very near with jess, sure can berguru with her anytime.

Hi Aishah,

BW while pregnant with a pouch is more possible using hip carry, with your little one more towards the back... Adriana was doing it with Aqil while her tummy was quite obvious. It was the size she used to use before falling pregnant. Then again, what may work for one may not work for others...

DIY no sew RS. Batik fabric usually is good enough. Try batik lepas for longer and more friendly length ;) Can always drop by Sunway and we can meet up ;)

Yep, I didn't buy a new or bigger carrier during pregnancy. I went for the IBW08 walk wearing Aqil in my same old pouch for a few hours. It was pretty comfy actually.

A good RS can provide you with similar options, and can be adjusted to be bigger if need be. My Maya RS was not supportive enough for Aqil, though, so I preferred a pouch.

Also, I just remembered...one of the sweetest memories of my pregnancy was seeing Aqil's reaction when the baby kicks while I BW him. He was like "Mama, what's that?!?!" And he starts checking his leg and my belly to see what it was that "hit" him. Hehe...BWing while pregnant is awesome.
