Connecta is an SSC. Which Connecta do you have Happi? The normal one or Solarweave (SW) Connecta? Connecta is just like LP SSC without waist pads.
i hv the solarweave connecta.
oooh, i thot SSC must hv waist padding. what's the difference between buckle-tai & the connecta/LP SSC?
Happi, buckle tai is buckle waist with long shoulder straps for tying. SSC is buckle waist and shoulder straps.

i thot buckle-tai has buckles for shoulder straps too coz when i saw liz video, looks like got buckles for shoulders....
IMO there's a fine line to differentiate between a buckle-tai and as SSC.
Buckle-tai is mostly refered to a mei-tai with buckles in place of the lengthy straps. So it's essentially a mei tai without the tying action. When all the straps are placed with buckles.. it's 'full buckle' and when only waist straps or only shoulder straps are place with buckles then they are refered to as 'half buckle'. Eg. SNUGG MT with buckles have been refered to an SSC too but I think buckle-tai suits it more because it's essentially a Mei Tai. IMO, it's also not wrong to refer to it as an SSC.
SSCs are SSCs because they are made to be SSCs and not.. u know as oppose to a mei tai converted to mei tai with buckles. I guess that's the major difference that will help differentiate between an SSC with buckle-tai.
Also I think it's more helpful to differentiate these carriers according to 'apron style wearing' or whether the waist is padded or not.

all in all any full buckle carrier (be it buckle tai, apron/non apron style wearing... and SSC, with padded waist) is an SSC :P
Snugg MT so nice. just now bb tak tentu hal, play also dowan, drink milk dowan, lie down dowan....plus getting late at nite so just left me to handle! i put her in the MT hands-out & held hands with her & walk around the house, chit-chat with her, now settled down nicely for milk.
p/s: looks like she's goin to sleep...heheh..that means i get to sleep too! ;)
yaa, very cantik. the carrier sleeve is very functional. yesterday my hubby carrying my "handbag" (SSC after being tucked into the sleeve) from the car. lol...
sooo cantiikk, happi! ... i got moo2 thing too. brown one, but MT. Also ask liza to add sleeve. Memang soo comel bila it turns into handbag!
