let share your daily babywearing adventures here....
if have pics, even better....

today, baby's 3 mths jab....hubby working..
so im all alone..
paed at SJMC..... parking far-away and have to take stairs and bridge....
and looked like it was gonna rain....
so I ruled out stroller....

so grabbed my ringsling... put baby in carseat and off we went...

dont think I could have made it alone without babywearing....
even with RS, hand so full... dengan puting, dengan diaper bag...
dengan appointment card... dengan payung..

and today was a good day... baby did not meragam and stayed put in the RS..
(yesterday was a bad day...)...
I really dont want to babywear on a bad day...
then people will see and will immediately think babywearing is a hassle..
but no choice yesterday (left stroller at home)...
no choice today (no hubby to accompany to hospital)...

but he was happy in the RS today....
hopefully it triggered some interests for the moms in the waiting room...
baby did not cry even once... even the jab didnt make him cry...
such a good boy today..

today nothing new yet. but yesterday me & hubby went for dinner. Haariz asleep at home. Idrees cranky, dont want to sleep. so brought him to the restaurant as well. we have to take turn to eat, since idrees dont want to stay put in the highchair. so, hubby's food came first, i went back to the car (which was parked infront of the restaurant), took out my RS. put in on.. & go jalan2 at 7eleven. Idrees was happy in it. ppl was looking, idrees was a very good boy. very good impression for non BW parents. then my turn to eat. hubby carry idrees.. in his hands, as usual. Idrees was very cranky. in that few minutes i can hear him screaming from infront of the shop. then.. i quickly eat, get idrees back in the RS .. and tadaaa.. stop being cranky again. eheheh.. the magic of BW!!.. (or is he very attached to me?) ..hmm

I really want to carry hannah in RS like this.. but dunno how to bring her fat legs out :-( Or are they still short?

OK back on topic..
Usually after returning from work, around 6.30 if hannah is awake, I will put her in the sling while preparing food for my elder kidz. Even if she doesnt cry i still love to carry her. Weird huh... this 5th baby turns mummy into a different person :-)

Look forward to slinging her FULL BLAST this weekend for open houses. hehehhe..

heheh terer la farid...
I dah beli penyangkut baju sederet....tampal kat dinding
cam untuk sangkut tudungs .... so line-up all ring sling there...
sejuk je hati tengok... hhehehe

wiera.....
i thought this petit belly was my last purchase,
but probably the osnaberg RS will be my last. i mean it this time!! heheeh (seriusly, I'm done collecting BW stuff.... have a new obsession to obsess about)

I didnt buy the Line-sijira series.... the 2 color own....
these are 12,800 yen
http://www.petitbelly.com/sijira-line-series.html

i just bought the plain sijira...7,300 yen...
http://www.petitbelly.com/sijira-ajisai.html

shipping is not that expensive... 1,500 yen
but definately cheaper than from US to malaysia...
and i think its 1,500 yen to ship from japan to worldwide...
(if im not mistaken)

wah gantung slings on teh wall. good idea.

:)

i don't have that much to show off anyway.

;)

i haven't got that much time to wear my baby eversince i start working because whenever i fetch her from the babysitter, she's all ready to settle down.

and guess what?

i reach home about 6 everyday.

pukul 6 pun dah nak tido anakku tuh.

elly has got new obsession to replace her slings craze.

that's bad news to us. Nanti tak boleh nak tengok new slings from elly anymore.

alah... I gantung ring sling je... now ade 3 ketul je.... also, bila sampai petitbelly and/if osnaberg RS... rase cam nak jual babyloft punye RS...

wawa, ur baby sleep at 6, bangun kul bape ek?
my baby kalau tido at 6 pm, kul 4 pagi die nak ajak sembang....
also, skang ni buaian tak berfungsi lah...
he wants me to babywear till 80% lalok, then only can masuk buai...
if not, the moment I put him in buai (walaupun tgh ngantuk) .. he will cry..

so everyday have to babywear...
time weekend mesti I get so muak of babywearing.... penat betul.....baby memerap je....sunday night, mesti swearing off babywearing, tanak babywear dah... tapi come Monday, I'll be addicted again hehehe...

like yesterday, pukul 6.30 dia tidur. then she woke uo at around 8.30. i played with her until around 10 then tido sampai pagi lah.

the other day, she'd be sleeping at bout 7-ish after maghrib.

then tido sampai pagi.

it's good that she wants to sleep early, so that i'd be able to spend my time with the older kids.

However, last two days semua bantai tidur cepat.

terkebil2 tatau nak buat apa bila budak2 dah tidur.

:))

babywearing is good, but there are time i just could not succumb to it anymore.

:)

penat la jugakkan.

waa Elly finally ordered petite belly. Exchange has gone up, if it was 6 months ago, Yen was quite weak.

When I was in Japan decades ago, I encountered many moms wearing their babies, mostly traditionally, in the trains. I thought wow!!! I am not going to do that.. WELL< that was when I was single.. but now i can understand why :-)

I can vividly remember the feelings looking at those mums, which was quite strange at that time coz I've never seen that in Malaysia before..
How i miss those days..

*Most Japanese women gave up their careers once they have kids.. hence most of them bring up kids on their own. In spite of advancement in technology, they are very traditional in many ways. Dunno much about the younger generation tho.

wawa ---
I am the opposite--
Always waiting for that moment when all kids are asleep! THen only I can attend to my work, and my passion (read: online shopping and forums like this).

I wish I have the physical strength to play with them games or read to them every night... nowadays, they are lucky if once a week :-(

So tired la at this age LOL!

Today, I thought of bringin g my Kozy to work to show it to my colleagues.

There are only 3 officers in my office and all are mothers, so we kinda share the same passion.

My immediate boss knows how to sew so she tried sewing a pouch during raya break.

i asked her to custom made mine because i can't fit Joanne's Littlepods anymore.

S size is small for me, and M is too big.

I need something in between.

Anyway, Mamahannah, surfing, foruming and being online for me when the kids are awake is not a problem.

:)

I've mastered the skills.

I am only (ONLY??) 28 and i got tired easily too. Even before i start working again.

ahahha.

we are no superwoman.

:)
